Victor Asuaje

Victor Asuaje, was born in Venezuela, in 1966. Asuaje is self-taught artist. He participated in the main Regional and Nationals Salons in the 80's and 90's. His talent has been recognized in many occasions: Asuaje was awarded the First Price by the National Painting Salon of Portuguesa, also First Price by National Salon of Visual Arts of Cojedes, First Price by the Centro-Occidental Salon Rafel Ramón González, Honorable Mention by the National Chez Salon of the Arts Center of Maracaibo, among others. He's work has been individually shown in the Museum of Contemparary Art of Caracas Sofía Imber, in 1994 and in Gallery Clave in 1989 and 1994. In the rural are of the State of Portuguesa, Asuaje has done many seminars that encourage creativity and education of adults, working in conjunction with teenagers of this area. Asuaje was selected to participate in the Pan-American Project of Graphic Arts (A.G.P.A.)
