Anja Brogan

Anja Brogan was born in 1979 to a German mother and an American father in Green Bay Wisconsin where she grew up spending summers in Hamburg with her German family. After two years of high school in Green Bay she proceeded on to Northfield Mount Hermon boarding school. In 96 after rejecting various music schools where she would have studied voice in preparation for a career as an opera singer, she entered Bard College and received a degree in the visual arts in 2000. She has taken up residence in Berlin Germany since October 2000, Living and working in the arts community.

One of three featured artists in the Milwaukee Fashion and Art Exposition supported by Canada World

2000

Assistant position at the Peninsula Art School, Fish Creek, Wisconsin.
Set Design and construction at the American Folklore Theater, Ephriam, Wisconsin

2001

Workshop supervisor and assistant in the BBK print workshop, Bethanien, in Berlin Kreuzberg since 2002 assistant to Jenö Gindl, Photographer
