Ali Cordero Casal
Ali Cordero Casal is strongly involved in the arts in various ways. He has been a collector for more than 20 years, building a collection of contemporary art that now has more than two thousand works.
Cordero Casal is also a promoter of the arts and an artist; he is the president and one of the founders of the Museo de Arte Acarigua Araure (MAAA), since 1987, which has a vast array of social
and educational programs and a recently inaugurated building considered an architectural jewel. Cordero Casal also founded and presides The Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA), a non-for-profit organization established on New York City since 1990, which has the primary objective of promoting the dialogue between Venezuelan and North American art, by creating programs and supporting artists of both countries in performing and visual arts and by accomplishing the important mission of broadening the understanding of both cultures. Besides his involvement in the arts, Cordero Casal is also the C.E.O. of ACC Group with operations in Caracas, Miami
